From Greece existed muses of inspiration as a resource for all those artists who did not know how to begin, continue or complete their works.
They were 9 and although none was the fashion design one, every day you need a muse that illuminates "that inspired the collection."

Inspirations are something I admire in designers (not including me yet, I didn’t my first collection), and I mean  that of "ocean waves" and "African deserts" are issues that are very worn.
But something has fascinated me and are the inspirations used by  Jorge Duque Velez. I had the opportunity to be at the launch of his Spring / Summer 2013. He called Styx. Inspired by the volume of Hell of Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy.

"A sound rowed silently, Charon, the mathematical phantom is wearing a chlamys without robe, showing her back opal, extending his hand for me to transport the coins on the Styx, above the world of Mr. Neptune , master of the depths of the unconscious, of the waters of chaos. As I cross the universe, you see his face in the background inert magma Ades and soft pink colors of the sky, as the range of saturated pigments Patinir. "

In fact, the runway was completely innovative because, not used the conventional way with models wearing the clothes. The collection was pulled over for a little characters mannequins emulating Charon.
If well we return to the theme of trends using by this Colombian designer, I highlight one that stunned me for its originality, the collection "Fractus" 2012. Now you imagine what was the muse?. Yes, mathematical fractals.

I still pleased that fashion is full of intimacy and romantic feelings, understand by "romantic" love for the blues. It is difficult, in a world where everyone competes for wearing an outfit from last collection, where prudence is a great virtue because often no support people to walk in the clouds and take the audacity to criticize the painstaking work of others .

The night ended pretty well, Catering accompanied us from salmon with mint sauce and asparagus wrapped in ham.
