Últimamente he evitado las fotos de cara, hace dos meses fuí a la peluquería, y la mujer que me "arregló" el cabello, cortó demasiado en la frente dejándome capúl. Así que, con ansias he esperado a que vuelva a crecer nuevamente para poder conseguir un copete bien hecho, a lo Elvis.
¿Qué puede hacer más feliz a un dandy que hacer sus propios trajes?. Dos meses después, la americana que ando confeccionando tiene forma. Me he equivocado bastante, lo sé. Entretelé la solapa y no corté bien los forros para las mangas.
El patronaje me llevó 4 días hacerlo y más de cuatro pesadillas por falta de tela. Es un tejido de esos que encuentras una vez, y cuando vas a comprar más, nein.
En todo caso, es mi primera vez y me sentí tal cual, perdiendo la virginidad (...)
La habitación de un chico guapo y popular tendría posters de bandas y una guitarra eléctrica, o medallas al deporte. La mía tiene una máquina de coser, un tomate para pinchar alfileres y reglas de modístería.

The room of a handsome and popular boy maybe has band's poster and have an electric guitar, or sports medals. Mine has a sewing machine, a tomato to prick pins and dressmaking rules.
